Flagship Aviation Services has expanded its autonomous floor care program with SoftBank Robotics America to more than 200 robots across 25 airport locations, marking a significant milestone in the companies’ strategic partnership.
Since the partnership began in 2024, Flagship has doubled the size of its autonomous cleaning fleet, growing from 100 robots across 15 locations to more than 200 across 25 locations. The program has surpassed 100,000 operating hours and is approaching 500 million square feet cleaned.
On average, Flagship’s autonomous fleet cleans nearly one million square feet each day, delivering consistent floor care across complex airport environments while freeing employees to focus on higher-priority areas that benefit from human attention and judgment.

Flagship’s autonomous fleet includes robots for sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and vacuuming across a variety of floor types and airport environments.
The technology can operate around the clock and alongside travelers, including during peak periods. This helps support consistent cleaning standards while giving Flagship employees more time to focus on cleaning restrooms, gates, and other high-touch areas throughout the airport.

As the program has expanded, Flagship has continued to evaluate new technologies and applications for its airport operations. Its autonomous portfolio now includes newer solutions such as Omnie and the next-generation V40, with further evaluations planned.
