Flagship Facility Services Demonstrates Continued Excellence with CIMS GB with Honors Recertification

Flagship first earned its CIMS GB with Honors certification in 2022, showcasing the company’s commitment to maintaining industry-leading standards and continually improving service quality.

CIMS is the first consensus-based management standard that outlines the primary characteristics of a successful, quality cleaning organization.

ISSA integrated facets of the GBAC STAR Service accreditation criteria with the established CIMS benchmarks to create CIMS GB with Honors. This certification represents a dedication to sustaining hygienic environments by merging GBAC’s cleaning, disinfection, and infection prevention protocols with the customer-focused framework of CIMS.

CIMS GB focuses on six core elements of industry best practices:

To successfully achieve CIMS certification, a facility service provider must meet 100% of ISSA’s standards and 60% of the recommended elements per section. An ISSA-accredited third-party assessor conducts an on-site review to ensure the organization’s activities are consistent with the documented systems and processes.

By incorporating the CIMS GB principles into its operations, Flagship demonstrates its ability to provide green cleaning services and assist customers in achieving points under the LEED-Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (LEED-EBOM) Green Building Rating System.
