Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) – a Flagship Facility Services client since 2021 – has been named Skytrax’s Best Airport in North America for 2023. This is Seattle-Tacoma’s second year in a row winning the award.
Seattle-Tacoma also earned a position in the Top 20 Best Airports in the World and landed second place for Cleanest Airport in North America, right behind Vancouver International Airport.
Skytrax began the World Airport Awards in 1999, when it launched a global airport satisfaction survey, as a way for consumers to evaluate airline and airport quality. Over 100 customer nationalities participated in the 2022-2023 survey, assessing customer service and facilities at 500+ airports.
“I want to give major kudos to our airport employees and partners for this back-to-back recognition,” said Port of Seattle Commission President Sam Cho. “Excellence in aviation is a team effort. The Port Commission sets a vision for the airport, but every single employee and partner played a role in executing the vision and earning this top ranking. It’s a huge achievement and we are honored to share it with the entire SEA Airport team. We are well on our way to building a port of the future.”
