Over the last 25 years, Flagship has worked with many of the nation’s top airlines and airports. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it has become even more crucial to establish smart and safe integrated facility management services focused on disinfection and protecting travelers for our aviation clients.
In Florida, one of the country’s hardest hit states for COVID-19, cases have hit over 630,000 (according to Google) at the time of this post. For Flagship employees, that means Orlando International Airport (MCO) needs to be proactive with cleaning and disinfection; and react quickly to prevent any small situation from becoming something dangerous.
The efforts of these impressive employees have been observed across the airport.
The entire Flagship team at MCO was recognized by MCO Cares, a Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Recognition Program at Orlando International Airport. It is intended to encourage employees of the airport community to recognize other airport employees (of any organization) for performance that demonstrates the common purpose and/or behaviors of the service framework.

The teams were recognized for remaining mindful of surroundings, stopping unsafe behaviors, cleaning up quickly or reporting an area that needs attention, and proactively offering assistance to the next part in the journey while delighting and valuing guests.
