This company needed a facility services partner for two of its West Coast data centers that could meet strict security and confidentiality protocols while providing specialized cleaning expertise.
Every person entering these facilities must be accounted for, with access authorized in advance and team members required to pass through multiple checkpoints. The Solution

In 2018, the company selected Flagship to provide day porter, nighttime janitorial, and utility services across its two West Coast campuses encompassing seven buildings.
Flagship worked closely with the client’s critical facilities supervisor and chief engineer to develop a cleaning program tailored to the unique specifications of the data center environment. Today, Flagship teams care for common areas, workspaces, and data halls, controlling dust and contaminants that could affect sensitive infrastructure. The team also supports the systems responsible for maintaining the airflow essential to server operations.
Just as important as the work itself is how it’s performed. Flagship team members adhere to the client’s rigorous privacy and security requirements, following established access procedures and navigating multiple checkpoints to ensure the integrity of restricted areas.
Since the partnership began, Flagship’s role has expanded beyond routine janitorial services. At one campus, Flagship performs seasonal project work, including a deep cleaning of office areas and filtration systems each spring, while also coordinating specialized services such as street sweeping and exterior window cleaning.

Nearly a decade later, Flagship continues to support both data center campuses, with its role expanding to include recurring project work and the coordination of specialized facility services.
