Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) – a Flagship Facility Services client since 2021 – has been named Skytrax’s Best Airport in North America 2022. Seattle-Tacoma is the first airport to best Vancouver International Airport in 12 years.
The World Airport Awards were established in 1999, when Skytrax launched its first airport customer satisfaction survey. The survey evaluates traveler experiences, including everything from check-in, arrivals, and departures to shopping, security, and immigration.
“Seattle-Tacoma International Airport implemented a broad range of terminal improvement projects to benefit the customer experience, which includes the complete renovation of the N Concourse and soon the opening of the new International Arrivals Facility,” according to Skytrax’s review.
Additionally, Seattle-Tacoma is one of 12 North American airports to receive Skytrax’s 4-star rating. The rating is a unique mark of quality achievement and a global benchmark of airport excellence, awarded following detailed audit analysis and assessment of an airport’s front-line service standards.
Flagship has provided janitorial services to Seattle-Tacoma since July 2021. It is one of eight airports to launch a janitorial contract with Flagship since April 2020.
The Flagship team has taken unprecedented steps to enhance the customer experience at these airports, including implementing IoT solutions and introducing Restroom Appearance Technicians.
