This year, Flagship Facility Services is proud to be celebrating 35 years since its founding. It’s been an incredible journey from small start-up to titan of the facilities maintenance industry and beyond.
Originally known as Service Performance Corporation, Flagship was founded on April 16, 1988, by current CEO Dave Pasek. The new company provided commercial janitorial services to businesses in Silicon Valley.
As the company grew, President & CEO Dave Pasek recognized the need to diversify. He changed the company’s name to Flagship in 2008 and oversaw several key mergers to achieve both geographical and service expansions.
Three and a half decades later, Flagship now offers comprehensive facilities support, including everything from culinary services to project management to lab services. More than 6,000 Flagship employees serve 1,800 customer locations across the country.
In its history, Flagship has accomplished many feats, such as earning the CIMS Green Building with Honors certification from ISSA for its sustainable practices to opening its new corporate headquarters in Southlake, Texas.
The company has also strived to create a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion and has taken pride in providing support to local communities in need.
“It’s incredible to look at where we started and where we are today,” said Pasek. “I take great pride in what we do and the impact we’ve made in this industry, and I am forever grateful for our fantastic employees and customers who have been a part of this journey.”
Flagship looks forward to recognizing the employees, customers, and community partners that have contributed to its success at commemorative events throughout 2023. It also looks forward to continued growth and development in the coming years.
